| Arik
Livnat, a musician, the instruments he plays include wind, saxophones,
and flutes. He is also a composer and actor. He served in the army
as a soloist in the IDF Orchestra. Arik learned to play the classical flute with the the Philharmonic Orchestra flautist, the late Serjio Feidman, and jazz flute with the musician, the late Roman Kunzman. He studied saxophone playing with the musician Peter Wertheimer, and theory of music and composition under the musicians Menachem Wiezimberg and Ilan Mohiah. He is a graduate of the Yoram Levinstein School of Acting, and acted in the Haifa Theater, in the Haifa Festival of Children's Plays, in the Fringe Theater, and also hosted shows on Educational TV programs. Arik recorded and performed together with some of the best artists in Israel, and also made an appearance with the American singer Stevie Wonder. He appears on the stage and records with his brother, Aviv Livnat (guitar, song, and composition). They perform their special melting pot of original music-cum-jazz and contemporary Jewish music with great success on the stage in Israel and abroad, and even appeared lately before the US President, Bill Clinton and in a UN-organized concert. He received "America Israel" Foundation grants for light music and jazz, and ACUM's Golden Feather award for the year 2000, together with his brother, for the disc "A Child's Dream" (music that they wrote for theater, movies, and dance). He won the British Millenium Award for original music which he wrote together with his brother for a London West End Theater production. Arik produced

Apart from his prolific and wide-ranging musical activities, together with his brother Aviv Livnat he inaugurated a special musical arts foundation, the Raz-Ram Foundation, that caters for orphaned and needy children through the arts.
